Photography

An integral part of the artistic process is going to location to find inspiration. I normally spend a number of days in a location taking in the locality and the different kinds of atmosphere and light/dark. I then make sketches, record the sounds and sights, and take photographs as a memory prompt. It seems to me that photography is just as much an art form as painting. It requires composition and an artists eye for space and perspective. With this in mind, people began to ask me about the photographs I used when I posted them on social media. I then had requests to buy photographs, which is why I am making some of them available on this page.
